patron saint of England

But why?

Possibly born in the Lebanon

to Greek parents.

A Roman soldier,

Martyred by a debatable Roman Emperor

Either Diocletian or some other Roman,

For failing to renounce his Christianity.

Where is the chivalric dragon slayer?

And why England?

Edward III proclaimed him patron,

After a victory gained by praying to him…

Or not?

So like a lot of English

custom and practise,

Our society is built

on false myths

and false premise…

Whilst the true stories

Of Angles and Saxons

are totally ignored.

It’s almost like our leaders

Don’t want us to know

our true heritage.
