INKS AIN’T WHAT THEY USED TO BE!

IMG_2512_rsz

Just spent last three hours preparing new images to paint. I bought new ink for my printer, at a cost of just over £30… Roughly $40. It lasted me 3 hours. Admittedly, I now have enough images to work on for the next year, but even so… My old printers used to last much more copies before running out. I have probably done the equivalent of 40 pages of full-colour full scap images… The actual size of the images were half a page, as I have 30 -40 small canvases to work on. Ok, so I’m rather compulsive and autistic, once I start doing something I can get lost in it for hours. Any way, no more ink, so back to painting. Got some really amazing pictures to paint now. Keep me out of mischief!

  1. The printers cost less than the ink now. It costs $100 to fill my colour printer, and the printer only cost $40 to begin with. I look forward to seeing what you do with those canvases.
