LIKE DOLPHINS
Hey Dad, remember when we were dolphins?
Remember?
We were brothers then,
fixed in the pod,
And we swam…
How we laughed all day,
And we jumped into the sky,
And we thought we could fly…
Remember the games,
The rack and ruin of tuna…
It was freedom Dad, remember freedom?
Like nothing ever mattered.
Laughter, joy, companionship?
I kind of miss it Dad…
don’t you just miss it?

A memory my youngest son gave me when he was about 6. He remembered us being Dolphins. I loved the thought… So I share it with you.
